Local Company Gains National Recognition for Unique Model
POTOMAC, MD – December 7, 2010 – Hassle Free Home Services, Inc. (Hassle Free) was named one of seven finalists and ultimately voted runner up in The Great Emerging Franchise Challenge. The Challenge, which was created by a group of experts in the franchising industry, looks at franchise business ideas from across the country and then selects the ones that hold the greatest potential for success.
Hassle Free announced in November that it would be partnering with Franchise Foundry of Orem, Utah to create a joint venture to franchise Hassle Free’s unique home maintenance service offering across the United States and Canada. The new company expects to start selling Hassle Free franchises beginning in early 2011.
“We feel that the recognition we received from the Challenge validates the approach we have taken since starting this company more than seven years ago,” said company founder and co-owner Jim Vagonis. “We wanted to change the way home maintenance and repair businesses operated by shifting from a project-to-project model to one where there is a trusting, ongoing relationship between contractor and client. Hassle Free has been providing comprehensive home management services to homeowners in Montgomery County, MD and neighboring areas since 2003.
